It's already March and since it is the 12th we know what that means. Time for Chad's 12 of 12. Check out his blog for all the rules, there really aren't any, except it has to be on the 12th of the month and the fun part is to see all of the 12 of 12's of all of our blogger friends around the world.
8:15am I left the house and stopped at Starbucks....I took a picture of this pretty tree with pink blossoms and then my camera stopped working....
1:15pm No camera until I got home and charged up the batteries...and lucky me, there are packages waiting for me and 2 of the long awaited circle journals
1:30 Quick trip to the mailbox, and yippee we have magazines and no bills
3:00pm It's bracket time.... got the on-line code for the work bracket. I am not much of a College basketball follower but I have a system when it comes to the choosing of the teams and I usually finish close to the top of our work bracket. I will give one of my picks away. Albany will upset Virginia in the first round in the South and that will be a upset. And why did I pick Albany you may ask, well the Albany mascot is the Great Dane and I love Great Danes and my mom does Great Dane rescue. It is a very scientific system. I can't give any more secrets away, sorry.
3:15 never had a chance for lunch and now I am starving, but it's so close to dinner so let's snack on Granny Smith apples with peanut butter for some dippin'
3:30pm everybody snacks at this time, even the cats. They normally are not this close without some screaming but when it comes to food, it's a whole different story
4:00pm It was 70 degrees here yesterday, pretty uncommon in Oregon in March. But I did find some lovely daffodils today. Can't wait for the tulips.
4:30pm Sitting in the front room at the breakfast table working but the whole time I keep looking at these shelves thinking how I need to re-organize my cookbooks. These 2 shelves are the "small" part of the collection
5:00pm Time to warm up the super awesome Turkey Chili I made last night. It's a Martha recipe of course and it is so good!
6:15pm Watching Bill Maher on Larry King, I love Bill Maher and I always look forward to Friday nights at 8pm when Real Time is on HBO, pretty exciting at our house on a Friday night....
6:45 I love my new rubber boots, thanks mom.... I hope it rains on Saturday so that I can wear them to work. Stupid St Patrick's day
7:30pm Updating the Circle Journal with my pages so that I can drop it off tomorrow to Michelle....
