It's been two week since I have had a Circle Journal in my hot little hands, but I finished my layout so when it arrives, I can add it in and then drive it down the road to Michelle.
Elizabeth's theme was "your favorite recipe" I had to decide what I was going to use, I couldn't give away the famous Hemingway Clam Dip or Mickey's Potato Salad and surely not the Chipino. But one of my favorite things is Salmon and add that with Roasted tomatoes and some Risotto and you have a match made in heaven. They are "buddies" as Jamie Oliver would say.

So I wanted it to look like a real cookbook, and some of my cookbooks are pretty dirty. My most loved recipe pages have marks from water splatter, food, etc. So I used some real wine and made some glass marks on the pages. It might not look like that now, but that's what I was intending. The book paper, is actually a picture of some of my cookbooks printed on cardstock. And I even dogeared the page...... I sure hope Elizabeth makes this and let's me know what she thought....
