For my friend Jan's grand daughter she wanted a "Princess Cake with a Doll" Of course it was a Cinderella Doll cake. "Rella" as she is known in our family is a favorite with the little ones. I had the expert over on Saturday to help me get the blue just right for her dress.
It takes full attention to keep an eye on the little fingers that like to go into the frosting and cake crumbs
It took 3 cakes to make the dress tall enough for the Cinderella Barbie. I made two chocolate and one French Vanilla (that is my favorite) and then of course every layer had Bavarian Creme....
I hear that she was a big hit and Amy couldn't wait to take the doll out.
