Can you believe it is election day? It is finally November 4th, I am watching the clock and it seems to be moving rather slow today... So what shall we eat, on the menu at out house is Blue Cheese Meatballs, fancy salad that I will call Elitists salad and good old American Apple Pie.
I looked on-line and found the Blue Cheese Meatballs, sounds perfect for our Obama Blue house. In the newest issue of Everyday Food there is a Mesclun Salad with Shallots and Blue cheese, which I will also be making but I have named it the Elitist salad, you know fancy and all...
And of course some Crunchy Carmel Apple Pie for dessert. I will post pictures and more later after all the food is made tonight...
For some drinks, the New York Times had some drinks in the Sunday paper, including the Obama-rama made from the Pink Door in Seattle, our neighbors to the north and home to my friend Mike...
There are lots of ideas and menus for tonight on Martha Stewart.com and on her show today is one of my favorites Rachel Maddow and some great vintage scrapbooks.
But last night for dinner I made Martha's Buffalo Chicken Tenders, I made John guess why I made those last night and he immediately answered "For Tim Russert" I can't stop thinking over the last few days and all day today that he is no longer here and will be missed tonight very very much....
Don't forget to vote and if you make something special tonight let me know....
