Sadly I knew this day would come sooner rather then later. When Teddy was not at his sisters funeral I knew it must be getting pretty bad. Fifteen months ago I heard the "breaking news" that Teddy had Brain cancer and that is when it began to sink in. It would be the end of a American Dynasty, the end of Camelot as we would know it. Edward "Teddy" Kennedy was the only one of the Kennedy sons that would die of natural causes and the member of the family that would take on so much for his family and his country.
Teddy was only 36 when he had lost all three of his brothers, Joe in a plane crash and Jack and Bobby by an assassins bullet. Teddy was there to walk all his nieces down the aisle, to be a "father" to all his nieces and nephews and to speak those amazing words at Bobby's and John Jr's funerals.
It will be a tough few days before he is finally laid to rest, but I hope he knows how much he really meant to so many people. May he rest in piece
You can leave a note for the family and see more about Teddy Kennedy on their offical website here.
